Alberto Busnari ( Italian: Alberto Busnari , born October 4, 1978 in Melzo ) is an Italian gymnast, three-time European Championship medalist and record holder of the Guinness Book of Records in the number of so-called Thomas circles completed per minute (50 laps per minute).

Biography
At the age of 6 he took up gymnastics as part of the Juventus Nova Melzo 1960 team under the guidance of coach Fulvio Vailati. He has been playing since 2004 for the Italian Air Force club. As part of the Italian team, he performed at four Olympics from 2000 to 2012, in Sydney took 35th place in the overall championship . Three times European Championship medalist on horseback. In London, he took 4th place in horse performances . Twice Universiade medalist, six-time medalist of the Mediterranean Games (including two-time champion).
On March 17, 2015, the Canale 5 TV channel broadcast “ Lo Show dei Record ”, in which celebrities try to set records that will be officially recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. In that issue, Alberto Busnari set a record for the number of elements completed per minute on a horse, known as Thomas circles: in a minute he completed 50 such circles [1] . Busnari repeated the record of Briton Louis Smith [2] .
