Biography

Born at Avdiivka station [3] [4] . In 1931 she graduated from the Medical Faculty of the State Medical Institute in Rostov-on-Don , in 1950 - from the Ukrainian Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education in Kharkov [3] [4] [5] . In 1931–1934, she worked as a doctor at the railway clinic of Taganrog station [3] [4] [5] . From 1955 to 1960 - Head of the Kaluga City Health Department. She was the initiator of the construction in Kaluga of the hospital number 3 (now the BCNS named after KN Shevchenko) [6] , after the construction was completed (from 1961) she headed the hospital as chief physician until the end of her life [3] [5] [4] [7] .

Contributed to the construction of a bridge across the Oka River in Kaluga [4] .

She died in Kaluga on April 26, 1988 from genital cancer. Buried at Pyatnitsky cemetery [5] .

Family

Mother - Lydia Mikhailovna Shevchenko (5.4.1886 - 26.5.1970), Honored Teacher of the RSFSR, the first teacher N. S. Khrushchev [3] [7] [8] .

The elder half sister is Praskovya Nikolaevna Shevchenko [3] .
