On August 13, 2014, former Team Immunity players - Branden “ Swip3rR ” Holland, Samuel “ Spookz ” Brodley , Simon “ Swiffer ” Papamarcos, Derik “ Reydeye ” Tran, Andrew “Rosey” Rose, and managers Frank “ Sangy ” Lee and Aimee “ Sigils ” Lau formed a new team with the provisional name “Exedas Gaming” ^[8] . On August 29, 2014, ex-Team Immunity was renamed The Chiefs eSports Club ^{[9] [10]} .

Fifth Season

On February 5, 2015, Chiefs began performing in the first split of the OPL . After the third week of the regular season of the Oceania regional league, they were in fourth place after the “Dire Wolves” in the top three teams ahead of the “ Lergacy ” team with four victories without a single defeat ^[11] . The regular season “Chiefs” finished in first place with thirteen wins and the only defeat ^[12] that they received in the sixth week of the regular season ^[13] from the team “Team4not OCE” ^[14] .

On April 2, 2015, the Chiefs played in the semifinals of the first OPL split against the Tim Community team ^[15] .
