Rope Tersius Malepe ( born Rope Tercious Malepe ; born February 18, 1997 , South Africa ) is a South African footballer , defender of the Orlando Pirates Club and the South African team . Participant of the Olympic Games 2016 in Rio de Janeiro .

Club career

Malepe is a graduate of the Orlando Pirates Club. In the season 2015/2016, he was on loan for the Moroka Swallows Club. On August 22, 2015, in the match against Cape Town All Stars , he made his debut in the first division of South Africa [1] .

In the summer of 2016, Tersius returned to Orlando Pirates, but could not make it into the main squad because of the presence of more experienced players in it and played for the substitute team for most of the 2016/2017 season [2] . At the end of August 2017, he was leased to the Ajax club from Cape Town [3] until the end of the season. On September 12, 2017, Malepe debuted in the South African Premier League in a match against Orlando Pirates. [4]

International Career

June 22, 2016 in a friendly match against the national team of Swazidend Malepe made his debut for the national team of South Africa [5] .

In 2016, Tersius as part of the South African Olympic team took part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . At the tournament he played in a match against the team of Iraq [6] .
