The name Inesh is of Tatar origin and means “small, shallow, narrow river” [3] .
Geography
The Inesh River originates in oak forests northeast of the village of Yamanovo . It flows east past the village of New Ishino and the village of Hozesanovo . The mouth of the river is 84 km on the left bank of the Kubnya river. The length of the river is 14 km, the catchment area is 53.4 km² [4] .
Water registry data
According to the state water register of Russia, it belongs to the Upper Volga basin district , the water sector of the river is Sviyaga from the village of Alsheevo to the mouth, the river sub-basin is the Volga from the Oka inlet to the Kuibyshev reservoir (without the Sura basin). The river basin - (Upper) Volga to the Kuibyshev reservoir (without the Oka basin) [4] .
