Oscar Albeiro Figueroa Mosqueira ( Spanish Óscar Albeiro Figueroa Mosquera ; April 27, 1983 , Zaragoza , Colombia ) - Colombian weightlifter , 2016 Olympic champion, silver medalist of the 2012 Olympic Games . The first Colombian man ever to win Olympic gold in all sports.

Career
He made his international debut in 2000. A participant in the 2004 Olympic Games , where he took part in the weight category up to 56 kg, took 5th place with a score of 280 kg [1] . A participant in the 2006 World Cup , where he participated in the weight category up to 62 kg, took 2nd place with a score of 297 kg, lost only to Chinese weightlifter Qiu Le [2] . At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, he suffered a right-hand injury while performing a jerk , after which he completed his appearances at these Olympic Games [3] . A participant in the 2012 Olympic Games in London , where he took part in the weight category up to 62 kg, won a silver medal with a result of 317 kg, lost only to DPRK representative Kim Eun Guk [4] . At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, he won a gold medal in the weight category up to 62 kg [5] .
In early November 2018, at the World Championships in Ashgabat, a Colombian athlete, in the weight category up to 67 kg, won a bronze medal in the push exercise, taking a weight of 178 kg. In the exercise, he was the eighth jerk, but in the end he became only the fifth.
