Novocheboksarskaya CHPP-3 is a thermal power plant ( cogeneration plant ) located in the city of Novocheboksarsk of the Republic of Chuvashia of the Russian Federation. It is part of the Mari El and Chuvashia branch of T Plus PJSC.

History
Description
Novocheboksarskaya CHPP-3 is a cross-linked cogeneration power plant designed for combined generation and supply of electricity and heat to consumers. The power plant operates in the wholesale market of electric energy and power and is the main source of heat for the city of Novocheboksarsk [1] .
TPP-3 is the second largest thermal power plant in Chuvashia . Installed electric capacity at the beginning of 2015 is 371 MW, thermal capacity - 869 Gcal / h [1] . Natural gas is used as the main fuel, fuel oil is used as the reserve one. [2]
The main equipment of the TPP [2] :
- five power boilers of the type with total steam capacity of 2420 t / h;
- five turbo units :
- PT-50-130 / 13 grades with a unit capacity of 50 MW,
- grade R-20-130 / 13 with a capacity of 20 MW,
- brands PT-80 / 100-130 / 13 with a capacity of 81 MW,
- two turbine units of the T-110 / 120-130 brand with a unit capacity of 110 MW.
