Club career

Pete came to football from futsal . In 2005, he joined the Beira Mar club. On July 27, 2013, in the Portuguese League Cup match against Portimonency , Pite made his debut for the main team [1] . On August 12, in his match against Porto backups, he made his debut in the Segnuda League [2] . On October 2, Pete scored his first goal for Beira Mar in a duel against Santa Clara [3] .

In the summer of 2014, he moved to Porto . To get playing practice, Pitu began speaking for a team of understudies. On August 10, in his match against Oliveirense , he made his debut for the double of the “dragons” [4] . In the same match, Pete scored his first goal for the new team. In his debut season, he helped the understudies win the Segund.

In the summer of 2016, Pete on a rental basis moved to Tondela . On August 27, in a match against Belenenses , he made his debut for a new team [5] . On January 8, 2017, Pete scored his first goal for Tondela in a duel against Aroka [6] . At the end of the lease, the club bought the player’s transfer.

International Career

In 2016, Pite, as part of the Portuguese Olympic team, took part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . In the tournament, he played in matches against the teams of Argentina [7] , Honduras [8] and Algeria [9] . In a duel against the Argentines, Pete scored a goal.
