History

1946 - 1991

The history of the enterprise began in 1946, when the Lviv Plant of Electrical Measuring Instruments [1] , which became one of the leading enterprises of the city [3], was created on the basis of electrical workshops.

In connection with the expansion of sociological research, a sociological laboratory was created at the enterprise for the social development of the team [4] .

In 1975, the Lviv Production Association Mikropribor was established on the basis of the plant, which included the Lviv Mikropribor Plant (as the parent company), as well as the Omega Plant created in 1966 in the city of Sambir , and the Izmeritel Plant in . The island of Samborsky district, the factory "Module" in Przemysl, the factory "Quantum" in Sokal, a special design bureau of microelectronics and instrumentation and repair and construction management [1] .

By the beginning of 1981, the production association produced over 150 items, including electrical meters, automation devices, computer equipment, and dosing systems. The workshops of the enterprise were equipped with the latest machines, instruments and equipment, all the main production processes are mechanized and automated [1] .

Also, in Soviet times, the enterprise published the large-circulation newspaper Elektron PO Mikropribor.

In 1981, Lviv Production Association Mikropribor was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor [1] .

In December 1985, ten specialists (including the head of the Design Bureau of Microelectronics and Instrument Engineering at the Lviv Microdistrict Production Association M. G. Rylik ) were awarded the USSR State Prize in the field of science and technology for developing the theoretical foundations for the manufacture of measuring devices of an integrating type, the creation of this base and the introduction into serial production of digital measuring devices with enhanced accuracy and performance [5] .

In 1985 - 1988, a new multi-storey industrial building of the Mikropribor plant was built and commissioned on ul. Nischinsky, 35 (the draft of which was developed by Dr. Techn. N. B. G. Gnidets ).

In July 1989, the Zaporozhye automobile factory Kommunar began negotiations on production cooperation in the manufacture of components for ZAZ passenger cars, and on March 14, 1990, an agreement was reached on the production of lighting equipment for ZAZ-1102 Tavria at the Mikropribor [6] .

On January 18, 1990, as a result of the reorganization of the Mikropribor software, the Special Design Bureau of Microelectronics and Instrument Engineering of the Mikropribor software was transformed into the independent research enterprise Koneks [7] .

After 1991

After the independence of Ukraine , the production association "Micropribor" was transformed into an open joint-stock company.

On May 15, 1995, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine included the plant in the list of enterprises subject to privatization during 1995 [8] .

In 1996, the Mikropribor plant with a land plot of 33 hectares was transferred to private ownership [9] , after which the economic situation of the enterprise was complicated [10] , and the volume of production decreased sharply. In the following years, despite the depreciation and gradual obsolescence of equipment, funds were not allocated for technical re-equipment [9] .

In 1997 - 1998, the structural units of the enterprise that occupied the factory building were reorganized into independent organizations:

  • On September 9, 1997, the factory canteen was registered as an independent organization.
  • On September 26, 1997, on the basis of part of the production shops, the subsidiary Mikroprilad-07 was established, whose specialization was the production of civil electrical measuring instruments
  • in November 1997, a company store opened in the factory building was registered as a subsidiary of Mikroprilad-Market
  • in 1998, a subsidiary Mikroprilad-gospodar was established, which provided rental services for unused production facilities

In October 1999, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine transferred the authority to manage state rights of OJSC Micropribor to the Lviv Regional State Administration [11] .

In 2005, the restructuring of the Mikropribor plant was announced. In 2006, the plant stopped production, part of the premises was sold, and the rest were leased [9] .

In April 2009, the dormitory of the plant (on the street Glinyansky tract, 147a) was transferred to the municipal property of the city [12] .

In April 2011, after the inventory of unused premises of the Mikropribor plant was completed, the head of the department of foreign economic activity and investments of the Lviv city council S. Kiral announced plans for the city administration to repair the premises of the plant and lease them in order to increase the income of the city budget [13] .
