Yulimar Del Valle Rojas Rodríguez ( Spanish: Yulimar Del Valle Rojas Rodríguez , born October 21, 1995 in Caracas , Venezuela ) is a Venezuelan track and field athlete who specializes in triple jumping , and also has international success in high jump and long jump. Silver medalist of the 2016 Olympic Games in triple jump with a score of 14.98 m. This medal was the first for Venezuela in women's athletics at the Olympic Games [2] . 2017 world champion in the open air and two-time world champion (2016 and 2018) indoors in the triple jump, South American champion of 2015 in the triple jump. Winner of the 2014 South American High Jump Games.

Biography and career
He currently lives in Madrid, where he trains under the guidance of a former long-distance jumper Ivan Pedroso. Her younger sister Yerilda Zapata is also a track and field athlete, a discus thrower [3] .
Yulimar is the holder of the Venezuelan record in the triple jump - 15.02 m and the former record holder in the long jump - 6.57 m [4] . In 2017, Johanmi Luke took the country’s long jump record from Rojas, surpassing the previous achievement by 1 cm. In the high jump, Rojas personal record (187 cm) is only 3 cm behind the country record set in 2008 by Marirlis Rojas.
Rojas does not hide his homosexual orientation, meets a girl.
