Vecsaule ( Latvian: Vecsaule ) is a settlement in the Bauska Region of Latvia . The administrative center of the Vetssaul volost . Located on the regional highway P87 ( Bauska - Aizkraukle ). Bauska is about 11 km away [1] . According to data for 2015, 375 people lived in the village [2] .

History
During the time of the Russian Empire, the Vetssaule estate was located in the village. In Soviet times, the village was the center of the Vetssaul village council of the Bauska district . In the village was the collective farm "Vetssaule" [1] .
