Akim Anna

Akim-Anna is a village in the Sergiev Posad district of the Moscow region , part of the municipality of the Rural settlement of Shemetovskoye (until November 29, 2006 it was part of the Konstantinovsky rural district ) [2] [3] .

Geography

Akim Anna is located about 30 km (on the highway) [8] north of Sergiev Posad , on the Peremoyka River (the left tributary of the Dubna River) [9] , the height of the village center above sea level is 188 m [10] .

The Vvedensky church in the village of Yokimoannovsky churchyard is known since the 17th century. A modern five-headed brick building, in the style of provincial classicism, with a refectory and a bell tower, the chapel of Joachim and Anna (hence the modern name), built in 1833. In the 1930s it was closed, returned to believers in the late 1990s, it is in force [11] .
