Biography
He distinguished himself in 1860 on an expedition against Morocco . In 1874, Serrano entrusted him with command of troops operating against the Carlist. Quesada freed Pamplona from the blockade, occupied Vittoria , defeated the Carlists at Villarreal and pushed them to the very border of France . He was Minister of War in the office of Canovas ( 1884 ); did not participate in any pronunciamento .
