University of Siena ( Italian. Università degli Studi di Siena , UNISI; lat. Universitas Senarum ) is a university located in the city of Siena ( Tuscany ). Founded in 1240 . One of the oldest universities in Italy. The university has 20,000 students, while the total population in Siena is 50,000. Today the university is known primarily for its law and medical faculties. The university is a member of the Coimbra group .
