The government of Democratic Kampuchea - the government of Cambodia (Democratic Kampuchea), formed during the rule of the Khmer Rouge 1975-1979. It was formed in 1976 shortly after the proclamation of Democratic Kampuchea and the resignation of Norodom Sihanouk. Up to this point, the country's government was formally exercised by the Royal Government of National Unity (CPNEC), which was headed by Penn Nut . In view of the establishment of a totalitarian communist regime, the government included only members of the Communist Party of Kampuchea (Angka), which at that time was the ruling and the only legal party in the country.
