The threat is a project of the Russian complex of a corrected aviation missile weapon developed for use on military aircraft and helicopters to improve the accuracy of combat use of unguided missile weapons. In publications of foreign countries it has the name RCIC (“Russian Concept of Impulse Correction”).

Content
The composition of the complex
The complex includes adjustable missiles S-5Kor (caliber - 57 mm), C-8Kor (80 mm) and C-13Kor (120 mm), created on the basis of unguided C-5, C-8 and C-13 aircraft for due to the additional equipping of them with semi-active homing laser systems [1] .
In the process of producing missiles, the missile’s warhead is equipped with detachable warheads in flight, the stabilization of which is carried out by means of a drop-down tail. The C-5cor rocket has four petal plumage and is revealed by means of a spring, while the C-8cor and C-13core - plumage consists of six petals and is revealed by means of a gas piston. The homing system allows to hit small ground targets (tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers) of all types [1] .
For aiming at the target, laser illumination of the target is required (lasting about 1 s). The target may be illuminated by a carrier aircraft (helicopter carrier), another aircraft, or from the ground by a target-pointer pointer. The flight of the warhead is corrected by impulse rocket engines. In order to increase the probability of hitting a target, the use of a volley of missiles is proposed [1] .
Development
The complex of corrected aviation missile weapons "Threat" was developed on the basis of RCIC-technology STC JSC "AMETECH" ("Automation and mechanization of technology"). In 1999, the complex was presented at the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-99 . In Western publications, the project was named RCIC - “Russian Concept of Impulse Correction” [1] .
