E12 - the first generation of the fifth series of BMW, the production of which was carried out from 1972 to 1981. These cars were released to replace the BMW Neue Klasse series. E60 - the fifth generation of the fifth series of BMW, the production of which was carried out from 2003 to 2010. In this generation, the series models were produced in two body types:
