Edith Dorothy Holman (July 18, 1883 - April 8, 1968) - British tennis player , participant in the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp .

Edith Dorothy Holman was born in the Kilburn area of London . At the Olympic Games in 1920, she won the silver medal in the individual event and another in the mixed double with her partner Geraldine Beamisch . She also performed in the mixed with Gordon Lowe , but they were defeated in the first round. In 1919, Holman won the World Tennis Championships in the halls, defeating Germain Rainier Golding in the final in two sets. She also won the World Tennis Championship on hard courts in 1920, defeating Francisco Subirana in two sets. She won the British tennis championship, played at the Royal Club in London in 1912, 1914, 1921 and 1922.
Her best performance at the Wimbledon tournament was her first competition in 1913, when she reached the semi-final of the singles, but lost to Winifred McNair.
