Adolph Caesar ( born Adolph Caesar , December 5, 1933 - March 6, 1986 ) - American actor. Born in Harlem , New York , the youngest of three sons in a family with Dominican roots. [1] The most popular part was brought to him by the role in Norman Jewison ’s film “ Soldier's Story ”, for which he received nominations for the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award. In addition, he had a memorable role in Steven Spielberg 's painting, " Flowers of the Purple Fields ."

The last film with his participation - “ Paradise Club ”, was released after his death. In 1986, during the filming of The Cool Boys (with Bert Lancaster and Kirk Douglas ), Cesar suffered a heart attack , and after some time he died. The actor is buried in the Ferncliffe cemetery in New York State. He left his wife Diana, who died in the same year, two daughters and a son.
