Distribution
It occurs in the province of Saskatchewan ( Canada ) [1] .
Description
Small, short-winged beetles , body length 3.0 - 3.4 mm. The main color is black (antennae and paws reddish-brown). The body is thin and densely punctured. Middle and hind tarsi 5-segmented (anterior 4-segmented). Active from June to September. The species name is given in honor of the coleopterologist Reginald Webster (Dr. Reginald R. Webster). The species was first described in 2016 by Canadian entomologists Jan Klimaszewski ( Jan Klimaszewski ; Laurentian Forestry Center, Ontario , Canada ) and David Larson ( David J. Larson ) together with species D. simulans and D. langori [1] [2] [3 ] ] .
