Biography
He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow University (1959), a student of G. Shapiro . Candidate of physico-mathematical sciences (1963) [1] .
Since 1964 he has been working at the Institute of Polymer Mechanics in Riga, head of the laboratory, from 1975 to 1986 - deputy director.
He taught at the Riga Polytechnic Institute (1963-1967) and the University of Latvia (since 1967, since 1975 - professor)
