Karin Stilke ( German: Karin Stilke , nee Lahl ; March 1, 1914 , Bremen - May 2, 2013 ) is a German fashion model whose popularity fell on the 1930s and 1940s.

Biography
After graduating from school, Karin came to Berlin and studied for a translator. Thanks to her aunt, whom she lived in the capital, Karin met with the writer Karl Gustav Volmeoller , and then with other famous artists and artists of that time: Erich Kestner , Erich Maria Remarck , Joseph von Sternberg , Marlene Dietrich and Kurd Jurgens .
In the spring of 1936, Karin noticed and invited photographer Iva to shoot the Kurfürstendamm . From that moment, Karin for more than two decades, until 1957, posed for the most famous fashion photographers, including Martin Munkachi in New York . In 1941, Karin married the bookseller Georg Shtilke. The last years of her life she spent in Hamburg.
