Izzat Artykov (born September 8, 1993 ) is a Kyrgyz weightlifter , Asian champion of 2016 and bronze medalist of Asian Championship 2015, master of sports of international class, multiple national champion. At the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro won a bronze medal, but then was disqualified for the use of doping.

Biography
Izzat was born in 1993 in Toktogul . His mother for many years lives in Russia, in Yekaterinburg .
He started weightlifting since 2003, when his mother, a third-grade student, gave his weightlifting school to Toktogul. Here he trained until the seventh grade, and after a year and a half he studied at the Bishkek sports school for children and teenagers. Currently studying in the sports academy.
