Biography
Arnal Mir de Toast was known as a brave warrior in the pre-Pyrenees counties, nicknamed the " Sid of the lands of Lleida " for his outstanding work in the conquest of Extremadura by the Urels. Along with Count Ermengol III Urzhelsky , Arnal Mir de Toast is one of the commanders who, in 1064, by the order of King Aragon Sancho Ramirez fortress of Barbastro . In addition, in alliance with the Count of Barcelona, he conquered the towns of Camaras and Cubels .
He was buried in St. Peter's Church in Ager . Later, his remains were moved to the local church in 1856, where they were restored in December 2009.
Arnal Mir de Toast was married to Arsene, who gave birth to three sons: Arnal and his two brothers named Guillermo, who died before their father. Daughters:
