Otto Nikolaevich Bader attributed this monument to the VIII — X centuries. The same dating was supported by A.P. Smirnov . A. Kh. Halikov and G. A. Arkhipov determined the functioning time of the burial ground within the 9th – 11th centuries, making an exception for one burial, which was considered possible to date from the 8th – early 9th centuries. Judging by the clothing complex (temporal rings with one bent end, head chains, breast plaque with cut edges and noisy pendants, etc.), T. B. Nikitina agrees with O. N. Bader and A. P. Smirnov and also dates to the "Cheremis cemetery" VIII-X centuries.
