Winter Light is the eighteenth studio album by American singer Linda Ronstadt , released in 1992 . He became the third Spanish-language disc in the singer's career and received a Grammy Award in the Grammy Award for Best Tropical Latin Album category .

Content
History
The album was released on September 15, 1992 via Elektra Records and Rhino. The idea to record it arose after working on the soundtrack for the movie “ Kings of Mambo ” with Afro-Cuban jazz and pop music and where her two songs sound (“Quiéreme Mucho” and “Perfidia”). At the 1993 ceremony, received a Grammy Award ( Best Tropical Latin Album ), moderate reviews from music critics and online publications [1] , but had no commercial success. As a result, in the American Billboard 200 charts, the disc took only 193rd place, position No. 3 on the Top Latin Albums chart and No. 17 on the Tropic / Salsa chart [4] .
