In 2005, the singer received a Grammy Award nomination for the best female vocal pop performance for the song "The First Cut Is The Deepest". The Very Best of Sheryl Crow achieved second place in the UK charts UK Album Chart ^[1] and position No. 2 on the American Billboard 200 ^[2] . By January 2008, sales in the United States exceeded 4 million copies and the album received a RIAA platinum certificate ^[3] .
