Gymnastics competitions in the team all-around among women at the 2016 Summer Olympics were held on August 9 at the Olympic arena . 40 athletes from 8 countries took part.
The US team won gold medals for the second time in a row. The silver medal was the Russian team, as in previous games. The bronze medals went to the Chinese team.

Qualification Round
On August 7, a qualification round was held, according to the results of which participants in the all-around finals and individual exercises were determined. In the team standings, out of 12 declared countries, the final was 8. The US gymnasts became the leaders according to the qualification results, gaining 185.238 points, outstripping the closest pursuers from the Chinese team by almost 10 points.
Results
In the final, unlike the qualification round, only three gymnasts perform on each of the shells from the country, and all the results go to the team standings.
