Kimberly Marie Glass ; (born August 18, 1984) - American volleyball player and model. Plays as an extreme forward. Currently stands for Telecom Club. Joined the US national team on May 23, 2007. [1] Participated in the Beijing Olympics , where she was awarded a silver medal.

Biography

Kimberly Glass was born in Los Angeles, California , in the family of Sherman and Katie Glass. She has two brothers, Daryl and Marcius, and two sisters, Chalan and Shainsi. [2] She grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania , and attended Conestoga Valley High School, where she won a sports prize for three litas. Recognized as a 2001 Pennsylvania player. She played in the MVP League in 2000 and 2001 and played in the American junior team in 2001, which competed in the Women's World Junior Championships. For four years she played for the Synergy club.

While in college, Glass tried to audition Tyra Banks 's Top American Model five times. [3]

In 2011, Glass starred in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue . [four]

Glass is a three-time winner of the American Association of Volleyball Coaches. Playing for the Wildcats club, in had the following statistics: 5.27 blocked goals, 2.84 defensive blows, 0.70 blocks, 0.40 points per match on average. A double-digit number of choked balls took place in 105 of its 115 matches. [five]

In 2002, AVCA was recognized as a rookie athlete of the year. As a graduate in 2005, Glass was selected by the AVCA to participate from the Arizona team in the National University Sports Association tournament, where her team made it to the regional finals.

Kimberly Glass was the first Arizona Wildcats player to score more than 2,000 goals. [6]

Glass played at the Pinkin de Corozal club in the Puerto Rico Super League. She was the leader among the players of the season in the number of muffled goals, and her team reached the semi-finals of the tournament. She joined Fenerbahce in the 2007 season with her colleague in the American team, Theresa Crawford. In the 2006-2007 season, Fenerbahçe also played the libero Nicole Davis .
