Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Pavlov (born May 30, 1962 ) is a Soviet and Russian athlete, a speedway motorcycle racer. Two-time champion of the USSR and three-time champion of Russia in the team competition, vice-champion of Russia in the individual competition.

Biography
Pupil of Balakovo speedway. For Balakovo “Turbine” spent most of the Soviet segment of his sports career - from 1980 to 1990, having won two national championships in its composition. In 1991 he moved the Ufa “Bashkiria” , and 1994 - in the Togliatti “Lada” , while winning three championships in a row in the country (1993-1995). In 1996, he suspended his sports career, returning to the big sport in 2003 - at 41, to the revived "Turbine". He also spent one season for “Salavat” and “Metkor” ( Sterlitamak ).
He also played in the Finnish League as part of the St. Petersburg club Neva (1994, 1997).
The main success in the standings is the silver of the personal championship of Russia in 1991 [1] .
The namesake of the famous Soviet speedway racer from Vladivostok in the 1960-1970s. Alexander Nikolaevich Pavlov.
