Biography
Olivia's parents emigrated from Poland to the USA [1] . Olivia herself was born in Glenview , Illinois .
Career
In 2012, she performed at the World Short Course Championships . She won two gold (100 meters backstroke, 4x100 meter freestyle relay), one silver (50 meters backstroke) and one bronze (4x100 meter relay combined) medals [2] .
In 2015, she performed at the Pan American Games . She won a silver medal at a distance of 100 meters on the back [3] .
Olympics 2016
She played for the US team at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro . In the preliminary swim at a distance of 100 meters on the back sailed first, with a score of 59.6 seconds [4] . With the sixth time, I reached the semifinal [5] . In the semifinal sailed fourth, with a score of 59.35 seconds [6] . With the eighth time reached the final [7] . In the final, the sixth sailed, with a score of 58.95 seconds [8] . Participated in the preliminary heat of the combined relay 4x100 meters . She also became a bronze medalist at a distance twice as long [15] .
