Magomedova, Khanum Magomedovna

Born in 1904 in the village of Urakhi, Darginsky district, Dagestan region of the Russian Empire, in a peasant family, but lived and grew up with her mother in the village of Ayamakhi.

She began her career in the local agricultural artel Kommuna.

In 1931 she graduated from the link courses and became the link Lenin state farm in the village of Sergokala, later became the foreman of the horticultural team of this state farm.

In 1947, a link of Khanum Magomedova received a wheat crop of 42.47 centners per hectare on an area of ​​nine hectares.

For receiving a high wheat crop by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 9, 1948, she was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Hammer and Sickle medal and the Order of Lenin.

She was elected deputy and first deputy chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR - 3 and 4 convocations, deputy of the Supreme Council of the DASSR, member of the Dagestan regional committee of the CPSU, chairman of the Sergokalinsky village council.

She died in 1991, was buried in the village of Sergokala.
