Dance central 3

Gameplay is similar to the two previous games in the series, in which players repeat dance moves that are tracked by the Xbox Kinect sensor. The more accurately the players dance, the more points and progress for the stars they earn. Increased difficulty for players means more difficult moves to repeat. New in Dance Central 3 is the crew mode Throwdown, where two teams (or up to four), from two to eight players, go to a series of performances, dance battles and mini-games. There is a “Keep the Beat” mini-game in which the player tracks the rhythm and a “Make Your Move” mini-game in which players compete in ordering on the fly. In addition, new in Dance Central 3 is the difficulty for beginners, the difficulty mode for people completely unfamiliar with dance games, and the party mode where they play random songs of small length and mini-games and, depending on how people play the difficulty or increase or lowers. ^[3]

Characters

All the characters from the previous two games in the series returned with the addition of Rasa and Lima, both from the DCI team. Despite Dare, MacCoy and Oblio did not appear in Dance Central 2, DCI, Lu $ h, Hi-Def, Flash4wrd, and Riptide are available from the start, while D-Coy, Murder Of Crows, Glitterati, D-CYPHER , Icon, and Ninj open as they pass. The only characters who have not returned are CYPH-ELITE and ELIOT, because both of them will return soon in the series.

• The movement "Oladehin" is named after the choreographer Kunle Oladehin.

Portable Content

Dance Central 3 allows you to transfer songs from Dance Central and Dance Central 2 for $ 4.99 (US) per disc. If the physical disk is used to perform the transfer function, the user will also need a unique code from each game instruction; however, if the digital version of Dance Central 2 is used , then the export code is not needed. In addition, if the user previously imported the original Dance Central , then the transfer function does not need to be performed. ^[four]

Downloadable Content

All previously downloaded songs are compatible with Dance Central 3 ; however, any new content released after October 16, 2012 is only compatible with Dance Central 3 . ^[five]

On March 8, 2013, Harmonix announced that the release of new DLCs for Dance Central 3 will end in March due to the fact that the company is shifting its resources to next-generation projects. ^[6]

Demo version

The demo version is available for download via the Xbox 360 Marketplace , fully localized into Russian. The demo includes 2 characters, DCI and Riptide crew and 2 stages, DCI HQ and Studio 675 (both characters and stages are already selected for the players, so there is no way to change them). In the demo besides the single player mode, the Dance Battle mode for the player is also included, it also provides the party mode for the player to use all the functions of the party mode included in the demo version.
