Theocentrism ( Greek Θεός - God + Lat. Centrum - the center of the circle) is a philosophical concept, which is based on the understanding of God as an absolute, perfect, highest being , the source of all life and any good. In this case, the basis of morality is worship and service to God, and imitation and likening to him is considered the highest goal of human life. Theocentrism is associated with theism and its principles [1] . Cosocentrism and anthropocentrism are opposed to theocentrism.
Theocentrism was most common in the Middle Ages .
