Kekuatovs

The Kekuatovs or Keykuatovs (Keykuvatovs) are a Tatar - Russian princely family .

Content

History

Comes from the Nogai rulers. Atmanai Urusov son Keykuvatov left for Moscow ( 1637 ). In the chartered charter of Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich (1637) Atman Urusovich, and in holy baptism Petr Petrovich Kekuatov was named prince . His descendants in all official and other acts were called princes.

The definition of the Governing Senate of July 23 and November 1, 1864 and November 24, 1871 was approved in the dignity of the Tatar princes with the inclusion in the VI part of the genealogy book:

  1. Major-major Vasily Ivanovich and his children: Joseph, fleet lieutenant Nikolai, midshipman Vladimir, Ekaterina, Praskovya and grandson of a titular councilor Vasily Nikolayevich.
  2. Cornet Andrei Vladimirovich and his children: collegiate assessor Vladimir, Alexander, Maria, Nadezhda, Lyudmila, Sofia and Catherine.
  3. Headquarters captain Mikhail Nikolaevich [1] .

The Kekuat family was included in Part VI of the genealogical book of the Chernihiv, Voronezh, Oryol and St. Petersburg gubernias.

Emblem Description

In an azure shield, a Tatar warrior in armor, galloping on a green horse, shooting backward from a bow.

The shield is crowned with a noble crowned helmet. Crest : a black double-headed eagle with scarlet eyes, tongues and golden beaks. The mark : right azure with silver, left azure with gold. Supporters : two golden lions with scarlet eyes and tongues. The shield is decorated with a princely mantle and crowned with a princely crown. The coat of arms of the Kekuatovs, the Tatar princes, was introduced in Part 19 of the General Armorial of the noble families of the All-Russian Empire, p. 3 .
