Biography
Born January 26, 1906 in Barnarpe. In 1931 he graduated from Alnarp Agricultural Institute. In 1931, he got a job at the State Control and Seed Station, where he worked as an agronomist . After six months, he quit and moved to Weibullsholm , where in 1932 he got a job at the Institute for Selection and worked until 1937. In 1937 he moved to Westernorrland , where he was elected to the post of director of a branch of the Swedish Seed Association; He held this position until 1944. In 1944 he moved to Uppsala , where he took the post of director of the Ultun branch in the same seed production association and worked there until 1954. In 1954 he moved to Svalyov and headed the Svalyov breeding station until his death. .
He died on April 9, 1991 in Svalyov.
Scientific work
The main scientific works are devoted to plant breeding and seed production. He was the organizer of research on these issues in Sweden, as well as internationally.
