Club career
Murillo began his career in the club " San Francisco ". On September 7, 2014 in the match against Chepo , he debuted in the Panama Championship [2] . On October 25, 2015, in a duel against Alliances , he scored twice, scoring his first goals for San Francisco [3] .
In February 2017, Michael moved to the American “ New York Red Bulls ” on loan [4] . On May 4, in the match against Sporting Kansas City , he made his debut in the MLS [5] . In November 2017, “New York Red Bulls” bought the player according to the option in the lease agreement [6] . On July 30, in a duel against the Canadian Montreal Impact , Murillo scored his first goal for the New York Red Bulls [7] .
International Career
In 2015, Murillo was included in the application for the youth team of Panama to participate in the CONCACAF Youth Championship in Jamaica . He played in the tournament against Mexico [8] , Aruba [9] , USA [10] , Jamaica [11] , Trinidad and Tobago [12] and Guatemala [13] . In a duel against the Trinidadians, Michael scored a goal. According to the results of the competition, he won a silver medal.
In the summer of the same year, Murillo took part in the World Youth Championship in New Zealand . He was a spare at the tournament and did not enter the field.
In the same year, Michael in the Olympic team took part in the Pan American Games in Canada . At the tournament he played in matches against Peru [14] , Canada [15] , Mexico [16] and Brazil [17] [18] .
March 16, 2016 in a friendly match against the national team of Nicaragua Murillo made his debut for the national team of Panama [19] .
In 2017, Murillo took part in the CONCACAF Gold Cup . In the tournament he played in matches against the teams of the USA [20] , Martinique [21] , Nicaragua [22] and Costa Rica [23] . In a duel against the Martinics, Michael scored a goal.
In 2018, Murillo took part in the World Cup in Russia . At the tournament he played in matches against the teams of Belgium [24] and England [25] .
In 2019, Murillo was included in the Panama national team for the CONCACAF Gold Cup [26] .
