General Information

The first seeding number in the single player tournament was Peng Shuai (No. 21 in the world at that time). Already in the second round, the Chinese woman lost to the representative of Japan, Misaki Doi . Last year's winner of the tournament Ekaterina Makarova did not defend her title. As a result, in the final of the tournament, two tennis players who were not seeded at the tournament met: Daniela Gantukhova and Aila Tomlyanovich . As a result, the victory was won by a more experienced Slovak - Gantukhova, who became the only three-time champion in the local tournament (before that she had won in 2011 and 2012). Five representatives of Russia took part in the draw, but only two - Vera Zvonareva and Evgenia Rodina, managed to overcome the first round and, as a result, go to the quarter-finals.

In the doubles tournament, the Taiwanese duo Zhan Khaoqing and Zhan Yunzhan won the main prize. For Yunzhan, this victory was the second local competition for us (before that, she won in 2008 together with Zhuang Jiaong ). Last year's champions Peng Shuai and Zhang Shuai did not defend their title.
