Białystok County ( Polish Powiat białostocki ) - county (district) in Poland , is included as an administrative unit in the Podlaskie Voivodeship . The center of the district is the city of Białystok (not included in the district). It covers an area of 2984.64 km². The population is 145,486 people (as of June 30, 2015 ) [1] .

Geography
Białystok County is bordered by Hainuvsky and Belsky County in the south, Vysokomazovetsky , Zambrowsky and Lomzhinsky District in the west, with Monka County in the northwest and Sokulsky District in the northeast. In the east, the district is bordered by Belarus .
