History
The Apostolic Nunciature in Turkmenistan was established on a permanent basis on July 10, 1996, the “ Ad plenius confirmandas ” log of Pope John Paul II . However, the apostolic nuncio does not have an official residence in Turkmenistan, in its capital Ashgabat, and is an apostolic nuncio concurrently, occasionally visiting the country. The residence of the apostolic nuncio in Tajikistan is Ankara - the capital of Turkey .
