Bella Ramsay was born in September 2003 in the UK [2] [3]
Career
From four to eleven years attended the school of theatrical art Stagecoach Theater Arts . The first works of the young actress were the roles of Amaryllis and Molly in amateur performances of the musicals “The Seller of Music” and “ Annie ” [4] .
Since eight years, together with her older sister she took part in the productions of a local comedy theater group [4] .
In 2013, she entered the Young Actors School of the Central Junior Television Workshop in Nottingham , where she auditioned for professional roles in television series and films [4] [5] . (In 2014, she was considered to be the role of Sophie in the film The Big and Good Giant ” which was eventually played by Ruby Barnhill [5] .)
She debuted on television in 2016, playing Lianna Mormont, the ten-year-old Lady of the Bear Island on the HBO television series Game of Thrones [6] .. Critics and fans of the series noted the outstanding actor's game of the young actress [6] [7] , The Hollywood Reporter magazine named her “rising star of season 6” [8] .
In May of the same year, the filming of the TV series “ The Worst Witch ” started, where Ramsay got the lead role. Bella played the hapless student of the Academy of Witches Mildred Hubble constantly getting into funny and ridiculous situations. The premiere of the first season took place on January 11, 2017 at CBBC in the UK [6] [9] . [10] .
