Alexa Bliss

Alexis Kaufman ( born Alex August Kaufman , born August 9, 1991) is an American bodybuilder and wrestler currently working at WWE on the Raw brand under the name Alex Bliss . He is currently the WWE Women's Team Champion (with Nikki Cross) for the first time in his career. She is also a former two-time champion of women of the SmackDown brand, as well as a former three-time champion of women of the Raw brand.

Content

The early years

Kaufman was born in Columbus , Ohio . [2] From the age of five, she began to engage in sports - softball , athletics , kickboxing and gymnastics . During college, she was a cheerleader . In addition, she was engaged in bodybuilding and participated in the Arnold Classic competition [1] .

Wrestling career

NXT (2013—2016)

Kaufman signed a contract with WWE in May 2013 and was sent to the preparatory department of NXT [3] . On July 24, she made her debut on the NXT television show, during which she congratulated the first ever NXT Women's Page champion [4] [5] . In August, her profile with the name Alexa Bliss appeared on WWE.com in the NXT [6] [7] staff section.

On November 20, she fulfilled the duty of ring announcer NXT [8] [9] , and on April 6, 2014 appeared on WrestleMania XXX , where she took part in the Triple H entry ceremony in the ring [10] [11] . On May 8, she made her debut in the ring, taking part in the tournament for the NXT Women's Championship. In the first round, she defeated Alicia Fox , but lost to Charlotte in the semifinals. [12] [13] [14] . On June 19 at the NXT show, she was stronger than Sasha Banks [15] .

SmackDown (2016—2017)

On July 19, 2016 Bliss was selected as WWE draft general manager of SmackDown [16] [17] and already on July 26 she made her debut in the main staff of the company. In her first appearance, she entered into confrontation with Becky Lynch , while in turn she was not interrupted by other girls of the brand [18] . On August 9, Bliss made his debut in the ring. She replaced Eva Marie in the match and defeated Lynch [19] . The following week, she paired with Natalya lost to Carmella and Lynch due to the intervention of Marie and Naomi [20] . This led to a management decision to host Bliss, Natalya and Marie against Naomi, Lynch and Carmella at SummerSlam . However, due to the fact that on August 18 Marie was suspended from participation in WWE events [21] , Nikki Bella took her place. As a result, Bliss and the team won their first pay-per-view victory on the show [22] .

At Backlash 2016 she took part in the fight for the first women's championship Smackdown. It was eliminated the very first. At the very first, Smackdown after PPV won the match of 5 participants and became a contender for the Smackdown Women's Champion title. 11/08/2016 at SmakDown Live in Glasgow, Becky Lynch lost the fight for the championship.

At Survivor Series, she was part of the SmackDown team and was defeated.

At TLC 2016, Bliss defeated Becky Lynch and became the new women's champion SmackDown.

At the Elimination Chamber 2017, she lost the title of champion of Smackdown among women Naomi.

At Smackdown on 02/21/2017 she won the title against Becky Lynch, which Naomi made vacant due to her injury.

Raw (2017 — present )

On Raw from 04/10/17, Alexa switched to Raw during the Wrestle Shakes, interrupting the conversation between Sasha Banks and Bailey, and saying that she wants a match for the Women's Raw title.

On Raw from 04/17/17 there was a match for the first claim for the Raw title between Sasha Banks against Alexa Bliss against Mickey James against Nai Jacks, where she defeated Alexa by stealing a victory from Nai.

On Raw from 04.24.17, Alexa said that Bailey would win on Payback (2017) and take the championship for herself. On the same show, there was a match between Sasha Banks and Bliss, where Sasha won on the countdown.

At Payback (2017), Alexa won her first championship at Raw, and became the first woman to have the Raw and Smackdown LIve championships.

December 19, the title run of Alexa on Raw was the longest in the history of the new belt. Earlier this record belonged to Charlotte. On December 27, Alexa is the champion who continuously holds the title for 122 days.

At the Elimination Chamber (2018) she defended the title in a match against Bailey, Mickey James, Sasha Banks, Sony Deville, Mandy Rose.

At WrestleMania 34, Alexa lost her title in a match against Nai Jax.

At the 2018 Money in the Bank show, Alexa won the ladder match for a money contract at a bank, at the same show she intervened in a match between Ronda Rousey and Naya Jax, and then used her contract at the latter and became the Raw champion again.
