History
The village of Vakhrushov is mentioned on a special map of the western part of Russia by F. F. Schubert in 1844 [2] .

At the end of the 19th – beginning of the 20th century, the village was administratively related to the Sankovsky volost of the 1st district of the 2nd camp of the Tikhvin district of the Novgorod province .

According to the data of 1933, the village was called Vakhrushovo and was the administrative center of the Pashsky Village Council, which included 14 settlements: the villages of Vakhrushovo , Kokovo, Kostkovo, Leonovo, Myagrino, Ratilovo, Sashkovo, Svyatoe, Seredka , Snopovo , Suksa , Tumovo , Ulyanino and Kalutorok farm , total population of 1299 people [5] .
According to the data of 1936, the village of Vakhrushevo was the administrative center of the Pash village council, which included 12 settlements, 281 households and 12 collective farms [6] .
According to the data of 1966 and 1973, the village of Vakhrushevo was also part of the Pash village council [7] [8] .
According to the 1990 data, the village of Vakhrushevo was part of the Shizhenskiy Village Council [9] .
In 1997, 4 people lived in the village of Vakhrushevo, Shizhenskaya Volost, in 2002 there was no resident population [10] [11] .
In 2007, 7 people lived in the village of Vakhrushevo Koskovsky SP , in 2010 - 4 [12] [13] .

The village is located in the northwestern part of the district on the Koskovo - Ulyanino highway.
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 5 km [12] .
The distance to the nearest railway station Tikhvin is 55 km [7] .
The village is located on the right bank of the river Pasha .
