Mary Ann Mihichuk ( born MaryAnn Mihychuk ); (born February 27, 1955 ) - Canadian political activist of Ukrainian descent. Minister of Employment, Labor and Labor of the Federal Government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in 2015-2017.

Biography
Born in the family of Ukrainian immigrants Miter Migichuk and Yekaterina Salamandik, she received a bachelor's degree from the University of Winnipeg in 1979 and a master's degree from Brock University in 1984. He is a certified geological engineer. She worked as a geologist in Newfoundland and Labrador in 1984-1986 and in Manitoba in 1986-1992. In 1992, she married Kenneth Marshall. The spouses have two daughters - Sarah and Anna and son John [2] .
Mary Ann Migichuk was elected advisor to the Winnipeg branch of the school commission in 1989 and re-elected in 1992. In 1995-2004 she was a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, representing the New Democratic Party .
She served as minister in the provincial government of Manitoba (1999-2004) [3] . In 2004, she ran for mayor of Winnipeg , but lost to Sam Katz.
Elected to the Parliament of Canada in October 2015 from the Liberal Party of Canada .
