Xie Tian ( Chinese trad. 谢 添 , real name Xie Hongkun ; June 18, 1914 , Tianjin , China - December 13, 2003 , Beijing , China ) - Chinese actor and film director. One of the founders of Chinese cinema.

Biography
Member of the CCP since 1979. He studied at the English commercial school, painted posters, wrote articles. In 1933 he began his stage activity. Since 1935 - in Shanghai, where in 1936 he made his debut in the cinema. After 1949 - at the Beijing Film Studio. In 1955-1956 he studied at the directing courses at the Beijing Institute of Cinematography.
