Biography
In 1970 he graduated from Ural State University. A. M. Gorky. The first poems and stories were published in the district (“Way of Victory”) and republican (“Soviet Tataria”) newspapers.
Member of the Union of Journalists of the USSR (1972), member of the Union of Writers of Russia (1996).
Since January 1964 he lived in Chelyabinsk. Engaged in the literary association Metallurg. He worked as a correspondent for regional radio, was the host of the Ural Meridian youth program, then - senior editor at the editorial board of literature and art at the television studio - made films about B. Ruchev, L. Tatanicheva, M. Lvov, V. Sorokin, I. Limonova (film about the poetess Limonova in 1977 was awarded the prize of the All-Union Festival of television youth programs in Chisinau).
In 1986-1991 - Editor of the South Ural Book Publishing House, in 1991-1993. - the publishing house "Variant-book", in 1997-1999. - Editor of the newspaper "Renaissance of the Urals", since 1999 - the newspaper "Aloe Pole", since November 1999 - the newspaper "Tax News" (on a voluntary basis).
Since August 1999 - Director of the Training and Information Center at the Office of the Federal Tax Service in the Chelyabinsk Region.
In 1998-2013. - Chairman of the Board of the Chelyabinsk Regional Writing Organization of the Russian Writers Union.
He was a member of the Communist Party, a public correspondent for the newspapers "Pravda" and "Soviet Russia" in the Chelyabinsk region.
He led the literary studio "Inspiration", the founder and first editor of the almanac "Starry Voice".
The debut book is a documentary-fiction novel “Constellations of Anthur” (about the scientist-oceanologist, Karabash A. N. Belkin) (1976). He was the author of documentaries on Chelyabinsk metallurgists (Stronger than Fire, 1986), twice Hero of the Soviet Union, Lenin Prize laureate, Army General V.I. Varennikov, Hero of the Soviet Union V.S. Arkhipov. In 2005, on the anniversary of the Great Victory, he published the book “The Sacred Calling of the Elements”, dedicated to the life and work of the masters of the poetic words of our land, B. Ruchev, L. Tatyanicheva, M. Lvov, V. Bogdanov, V. Sorokin and other authors.
