Sinfonia Varsovia
It was founded in 1984 as a result of the expansion of the Polish Chamber Orchestra. At the invitation of Waldemar Dombrowski, Director General of the Center for the Arts Studio. S.I. Vitkevich in Warsaw and Franciszek Wybranchik [1] , the director of the Polish Chamber Orchestra already operating, legendary violinist Yehudi Menuhin came to perform in Poland as a soloist and conductor . In order to meet the needs of the planned repertoire, the composition of the orchestra was increased by invited outstanding musicians from all over the country. The first concerts of the collective under the leadership of Yehudi Menuhin were enthusiastically received by the public and critics, and Menukhin himself did not hesitate to accept the offer to become the first invited conductor of the newly created orchestra.
