History
The village of Kokov is mentioned on a special map of the western part of Russia by F. F. Schubert in 1844 [2] .

At the end of the 19th – beginning of the 20th century, the village was administratively related to the Sankovsky volost of the 1st district of the 2nd camp of the Tikhvin district of the Novgorod province .

The village is located in the northwestern part of the region near the 41K-021 highway ( Kaivaksa - Koskovo - Isakovo ).

The village is located on the right bank of the river Pasha .
