Antony Baryshevsky ( Ukrainian: Anthony Barishevsky ; born October 10, 1988 , Kiev ) is a Ukrainian pianist .

Biography
Anthony Baryshevsky was born on October 10, 1988 in Kiev. He started playing the piano at the age of 7. He studied at the Children's Music School No. 14 named after D. Kabalevsky with Alina Sorkina and Rita Donskaya's class. At 16, Anthony became a laureate of the All-Ukrainian program “Person of the Year” , and a year later he took part in the youth concert of the European Radio in Munich. In 2007 he graduated from the and entered the National Music Academy of Ukraine named after P. I. Tchaikovsky , in the class of Professor Valery Kozlov .
In 2015, he completed an internship at the NMAU assistant , as well as training in the class of Marian Rybitsky at the Alfred Corto Normal School of Music in Paris.
He participated in master classes by Alfred Brendel , , Lily Dorfman.
Since 2012 - soloist of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine .
The pianist toured in France, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Iceland, Russia, Belarus, Serbia, Romania, Poland, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Morocco, Israel and the USA. Recorded on radio and television in Ukraine, Serbia, Italy, Denmark and Spain. Has a CD recording ( ).
Achievements
- 2014 - 1st place, a gold medal and a special prize for the best performance of an Israeli composer play at the 14th Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition in Tel Aviv (Israel) [1] ;
- 2014 - 1 prize at the 7th Interlaken-Classics International Piano Competition in Bern (Switzerland) [2] ;
- 2013 - 1 prize at the International Piano Competition in Paris (France);
- 2013 - 2 prize at the International Piano Competition “European Piano Evenings” (Luxembourg) [3] ;
- 2013 - Grand Prix of the 13th International Music Competition in Morocco (Casablanca, Morocco) [4] ;
- 2012 - 2nd Prize and Public Prize at the Animato Grand Prix competition (Paris, France) [5] ;
- 2011 - 2nd Prize, Public Prize and 2 more special prizes at the 58th F. Busoni International Piano Competition (Bolz ano, Italy) [6] ;
- 2011 - 3 prize at the 1st International Piano Competition in Paterna (Spain) [7] ;
- 2010 - Bruno-Fry 2010 Music Award for outstanding musical achievements (Germany);
- 2009 - 1 prize, Public Prize and a special prize at the 51st International Piano Competition in the city of Jaen (Spain) [8] ;
- 2008 - First Prize, Public Prize and 3 more special prizes at the Piano Competition in memory of Isidor Bajic in Novi Sad (Serbia) [9] ;
- 2006 - victory at the 2nd International Piano Competition of the International Summer Academy of Music in Germany;
- 2005 - 2 prize and a special prize of the European Federation of Music Competitions at the International Competition of Young Pianists in Memory of V. Horowitz in Kiev [10] ;
- 2004 - 1 prize at the International Piano Competition "Performer-Composer" (St. Petersburg).
