Plate Fort

Plit-Fort is a railway test site located in northern France near the city of Valenciennes in the town of Plit-Fort. It was built on the initiative of the parent companies that produce trains in the cities of Rem , Marley , Trit . The French Railways Bureau for Rolling Stock Certification is based nearby.

Technical Features

The landfill has the following paths:

  1. 2750 m long for high-speed tests, designed for a maximum speed of 100 km / h;
  2. 1850 m long, where life tests take place at a maximum speed of 80 km / h
  3. s-shaped length of 2950 m, for testing automatic control systems.

The landfill is connected by a line with the test center, and through it with the railway network of France.
